Summary:
Oakland started out with a home run in the first to take a one run lead…Montreal decided they’d had enough and exploded for 3 in the second and would never look back. Montreal clubbed 6 home runs in their 13-run explosion, including 2 by 3B Hal Purcell who also knocked in 6. Philip Priddy picked up the win, scattering 7 hits over 7 innings to improve to 6-0 in the playoffs. Not much else to say about this game.
