Free Agent Ranking Notes

• I use a formula where I give a specific weight to each rating. The weights add up to 1.0.
• I only include those players who show up in the ML contract section of FA.
  
• When I talk about the rating of a position group, I am referring to the average rating of the top 5 players in the position group.
• The top rated position group is SS which scored 73.06. Starting pitching followed with 72.48.
  
• The bottom position group is CF which scored 54.97.
  
• There are a total of 217 free agents seeking ML contracts.
