- Yovani Fuentes (PIT)
Fuentes keeps opposing managers up at night trying to figure out how to stop him. When the worst thing you can say about a guy is that he'll be good against lefties and should give a team 150-155 games at 100%, you know he's good. He won't strike out much, he crushes right-handed pitching, has tremendous power, and if that's not enough, he's going to put up a .400+ on-base percentage. He is scary good. - Hipolito Iglesias (COL)
This youngster does not have great durability, and is a bad defender. He's got an innate ability to make good, solid contact on a very exceptional basisi. He's got good power to go along with his above average ability to avoid strikeouts. He's got a very good eye, so he's going to get on base a lot. Still has room to grow and develop. - Theo Mathews (LA)
Another youngster with ability to grown and develop, Mathews has a lot of good things going for him. He makes good contact with good power. He's got good durability. He's a good defender. He's good at driving the ball. He's got good speed. What really stands out though is his ability to work the count and get on base via the walk.
